Internet Relay Chat (or IRC) is a chat protocol that we use to keep in touch and discuss anime. We'd love you to drop by and have a chat!

IRC Widget

To get into IRC immediately, use our IRC Widget.

However, we suggest downloading your own client... to do so, keep reading!

Super Simple Instructions

If you use Windows and want to get started as soon as possible with no fuss then you can download our pre-configured HexChat client.

For Windows Vista/7/8 x86: HexChat for WWWA x86 (choose this one if you're unsure)
For Windows Vista/7/8 x64: HexChat for WWWA x64

Simply unzip the application and run HexChat.exe. Once it runs, you will automatically connect as wwwaMember.

Inside HexChat, click HexChat > Network List in the menu to bring up your username. Change your username(s) and click Close. Now when you restart the client you will connect with your new name!

Alternatively, if you want to setup a client yourself or use our web client, keep reading.

Using a Desktop Client

Download an appropriate IRC client. We reccomend HexChat (formerly X-Chat WDK) for Windows and Linux, X-Chat Aqua for Mac OS X. Alternatively many people use mIRC for Windows.

Our IRC channel is located at:

[email protected]

Other than that, you'll have to configure it yourself ;)

Events

Screenings continue as normal next week, but first comes the Ramen Eating Competition on Sunday!

Screenings

Screenings are happening five days a week this semester! Check out the screenings page for more info.

Library

Check out the new library site for information about how to borrow, and what series we have (it's a lot, we have over 9TB of anime on offer!)
